ZeroPlastic Commitment Standard (ZPC)
ZeroPlastic Commitment Engaged
01.
What is ZPC Engaged
ZPC Engaged is awarded to organizations that have:
- Officially enrolled in the ZPC Certification Program, and Completed and submitted a validated Self-Assessment of their current plastic usage.
This phase does not require you to eliminate all plastics. Instead, it acknowledges your intent and commitment while giving you the time and guidance to develop your Plastic Reduction Plan (PRP).

02.
What Happens During the ZPC Engaged Phase?
Over a 12-month period, you will:
-Establish a plastic usage baseline,
-Align internal operations with ZPC requirements,
-Begin implementing early actions,
-Develop your formal Plastic Reduction Plan (PRP),
-Prepare for a third-party audit by Control Union — our independent Certification Body.
At the end of this phase, your organization will be ready to apply for ZPC Level 1 (Silver Tier) Certification.
