How It Works
The Certification Process
Step 1: Initiation
Contact the ZeroPlastic Commitment (ZPC) team and begin the self-assessment process.This stage allows your organization to assess its current plastic footprint and prepare for the next steps in the certification journey.
Step 2: Launch
Once the self-assessment is successfully verified by the Certification Body (CB), the organization becomes ZPC Engaged. From this point, the organization has up to 12 months to implement its Plastic Reduction Plans (PRPs) and work toward achieving Level 1 certification.
Step 3: Progress
Before the 12-month deadline, the organization can request an audit to evaluate its progress. Upon successful completion of the audit, the organization will be awarded Level 1 Certification.
Advancement or Renewal
Before the certification expires, the organization shall contact CB for re-certification audit to renew their certification duration, or to be awarded level 2 or higher status
